ATHLETES, RUNNERS, READ THIS!!!

For everyone in my generation who is struggling with running their first marathon, half marathon, triathlon, or just love to work out, you should read this book about Terry Fox. Terry Fox was a 19 year who was diagnosed with Cancer and lost his right leg. He’d read about another amputee running a marathon with a prosthetic leg and in 1979, he set out to run across Canada on what he called the “Marathon of Hope.” He ran about a marathon (26 miles) everyday. His goal was to raise $1 from every Canadian and he surpassed that goal and is still raising money to this day. The story is very inspirational to everyone out there who thinks they can’t run a 1/2 marathon or even a 5k. If Terry can do it, so can you!
