YouTube Videocracy Event

I just got back from this event that YouTube was putting on called the Videocracy event, which is basically for advertisers to get a better view of YouTube’s content and invest some $$$$$$. It was held at Terminal 5 on 55th St. The decor was amazing and very modern. I was there at the Threadbanger booth in the How-To section. For hours we talked to people, schmoozed, gave away a bunch of shirts and helped people to reconstruct the shirts into halter tops, off the shoulder shirts, bags and vests. It was an awesome event. I was a little star struck when I almost literally ran into Tay Zonday. The kid that plays Pachabel’s Canon on the guitar performed as well as Esmee Denters (signed to Justin Timberlake’s label) and this guy who sounded like Johnny Cash, while this amazing painter painted a picture of Johnny Cash during the 3 minute song! It was really fun, there was a lot of good food, especially the cheescake on a stick and mini sorbet cones. Plus, we got a Flip Video cam.. I love YouTube.
