Yankees verses Mets. Go baseball!
Some of you will hate me for this post. That’s OK.
I’m not a huge baseball fan - someone told me once that Mickey Mantle was playing on first base for the Yankees. I believed him.
I have a theory and it is that I just root for the team of the city I currently reside in (or I am currently am in.) Some of you may think I’m a poser. And to answer you thought, yeah I probably am. So what? I like going to baseball games because I love sitting in bleachers with a huge endless field in front of me. I love to spend ungodly amounts of money on beer, fries, hot dogs, popcorn (I don’t even really enjoy popcorn) and big soft pretzels.
Today I am going to the Met vs Yankees game. I live in NY, so according to my theory, I love both teams (although I joke that the Dodgers are my favorite team because I’m from LA and I like Darryl Strawberry because of his name). I own a Yankees and Mets hat. I brought my Yankees hat to wear since it’s at Yankees stadium and I feel that by wearing this hat, I will be beat up less than if I wear a Met’s hat. In any case, I can’t wait to drink $9 beer and eat $8 fries! I love baseball!
